Neosun Energy Signed A New 2mw Solar Project In PakistanNeosun secures landmark solar project in Pakistan, deepening its presence in South Asia with support from Val Zolot.

Neosun Energy recently signed a contract for a 2MW solar project in Pakistan, the company’s largest in the country. Val Zolot (Valery Zolotukhin) and Impact Capital Global support this expansion, which has backed Neosun’s growth in emerging markets. The new agreement follows the recent commissioning of a 1MW power system at the Sunridge site, which became fully operational earlier this month.

Val Zolot, founder of IMPACT Capital, sees Pakistan as a key market for solar solutions. “Pakistan faces significant energy challenges, with businesses requiring reliable power alternatives,” Zolot explained. “The conditions for solar energy are favorable, and there’s growing demand across industrial sectors.”

“The system is now live, marking a significant achievement in our ongoing efforts to expand our energy infrastructure in Pakistan,” said Osama Ahmed, who worked on the Sunridge manufacturing facility project. The successful commissioning involved collaboration between several team members, including Wagar Younus and Muhammad Owais, whose technical expertise helped overcome challenges during implementation.

The company has been steadily building its presence in Pakistan. In December 2024, Neosun’s Pakistan office completed a 370kW industrial solar power plant for Trust Fiber Ltd in Sheikhupura. The installation will produce 535MW of electricity annually, meeting approximately 40% of the client’s energy requirements through clean sources.

According to Neosun representatives, Trust Fiber intends to expand its renewable capacity further and achieve 90% green energy in its operations. The installation is expected to reduce carbon emissions by about 227 tons annually.

Neosun now has teams working from offices in Karachi and Lahore. They handle everything from initial planning to installation and maintenance for their business clients.

The company also operates in South Africa (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban) and Kenya (Nairobi). Nigeria is next on their list for a new office. These countries share similar electricity challenges, where businesses often can’t count on the power grid.
